I Like to Move; I Move What I Can

Over several months, a multidisciplinary creative project came together taking inspiration from precious objects in the homes of 4 women and the stories associated with them: stories of childhood, love, family, brass bands, teddy bears, and photographs. The women have limited mobility and attend the Flourish Monday zoom class,

From these stories came music and dance, the movement was then re-interpreted by members of the Flourish Tuesday Group.

Sessions with people living with Multiple Sclerosis, their carers, family and friends. Together we explore co-ordination, body awareness, stretching, creativity, memory and having fun. If you want to find out more about this class please email us on info@hulldance.com

Just hit your mid-40s or 50s and think you should try and move a bit more? This gentle class is developed with you in mind. Some weight bearing movements, some relaxing, a space to learn steps and share a few of your own whilst re-connecting with your body and mind in a safe environment with other women.
